"I just want to take a minute and brag on the young man that was at the window last night, he was so polite and had a smile on his face the whole time, I know the atmosphere and I’m so impressed with him. After everything I said it was yes ma’am or no ma’am. All I have to say is great job young man. I believe his name is Ladrevon. Of course my food was great too! Nobody wants to do compliments anymore just complaints but this young man deserves some recognition!"

"Of course, this meal isn't my normal menu item since it was fried but they offered a new platter entree I wanted to try once and share. There was so much food and it was piping hot and delicious. I tried it again on a $5.99 food item later and the fries were dry and the fish probably had been sitting a while."

"This Captain D's is always spot on. The staff is always pleasant, helpful, and efficient and the food is always fresh, and the order always correct. I've never been one to think of going to Captain D's for grilled/healthier foods... until this year. There are times when I don't want grilled chicken, but I still want a quick and healthier meal. Those are the times I head immediately to this location. The blackened Tilapia is SO GOOD and I'm not typically big on eating any seafood other than snow crab, shrimp, or fried Cod (I don't like fishy tastes). The fish has a good amount of seasoning (though I don't think they could ever overdo it), the breadsticks are soft and go well with the flavor, and the rice is cooked well - not too hard nor overdone. Even on the days I don't feel healthy and want some fried cod, it's perfectly hot and golden every time. It's also nice to think that, unlike the Taco Bell next door, I'm not in danger of them removing the only items I eat reguarly."

As for the food, it was exactly what you expect from Captain D’s—crispy, flavorful fish, well-seasoned sides, and generous portions. Everything tasted fresh, and the quality was consistent. Overall, this visit stood out because of the excellent customer service. Friendly, efficient staff combined with quick and accurate drive-through service made for a very pleasant experience. I’ll definitely be returning soon."

"I always forget about this restaurant. No offense. Florence has so many restaurants. I had a craving so, I stopped by. I ordered the Fish and Shrimp. For my sides I ordered okra and macaroni and cheese. My food was ready before I could even sit down. It was hot and fresh and so tasty! The restaurant is decorated really cute and very festive for Christmas. Thank you Captain D's."
